Restroom facilities are located in the rear of the Recreation Center building with entry door just to the left of the snack window. Orioles Team Captain or Coach has a key if the restroom is locked.
Free parking is available in parking lots on either side of the Rec Center building on Boulevard and around the field along Market Street and along Pine Street.
For the kids, swings and a play area are available. An outdoor water park is located at the Recreation Center and is available during supervised Summer hours.
From the Parsippany, New Jersey area, take route 287 to the route 80 East exit.
Follow route 80 East to exit 61 "Garfield and Elmwood Park."
At the end of the exit 61 ramp, make a left at the light onto River Drive (route 507 North).
On River Drive, go only about 50 yards and make a right onto Market Street.
Go about 0.5 miles on Market Street to the Boulevard intersection and make a left at that traffic light. The field is in back of the recreation center on your left after the turn.
From central New Jersey, take the Garden State Parkway North to exit 157, "Elmwood Park."
Turn right onto the exit which takes you directly onto Route 46 East.
Proceed on Route 46 East to the first traffic light, about 1/3 of a mile, and go through the light and make a right onto the "Elmwood Park" exit jughandle.
Make a right turn out of the jughandle onto Boulevard (going North), go through the Route 46 intersection and proceed about 1/2 mile to the Market Street intersection traffic light. The field and Recreation Center is diagonally across the intersection on the left.
From points North, take the Garden State Parkway South to exit 159, "Rt 80 & Saddle Brook." Be sure to move over to the toll booths on the right, that are located just before the exit. Turn right onto the exit ramp and turn right off of the exit ramp, following the sign for "Saddle Brook" and then take the immediate left at the "Y" in the exit onto Molnar Drive. Go under the bridge and proceed on Molnar Drive a mile or so to the Boulevard traffic light and make a left onto Boulevard. Proceed 1/3 mile on Boulevard to the Market Street traffic light. Make a right onto Market Street and proceed 1 block to Pine Street. Make a right onto Pine Street. The field is on your right.
From downtown NYC, take the Lincoln Tunnel to New Jersey, Route 3 West.
Follow Route 3 West about 4 miles or so to Route 21 North.
Make a right off of Route 3 and bear left on the exit ramp to Route 21 North (Passaic).
Follow Route 21 North a few miles to the end.
The highway will narrow to one lane then enter via the left lane onto combined Routes 20 and 46.
Bear right to the two right lanes and bear right at the Y taking the Route 46 East fork.
Go about 1 mile to the first traffic light just past the Friendly's Restaurant on the Right.
Take the "Elmwood Park" exit jug-handle just past the light and make a right onto Boulevard.
Proceed North on Boulevard about 1/2 mile to the Market Street traffic light.
The Recreation Center is across the intersection on the left.
From uptown NYC, cross the George Washington Bridge (route 95) to New Jersey and follow the signs for Route 80 West. Go about 8 miles on Rt 80 West to exit 61, "Garfield and Elmwood Park." At the end of the exit ramp, make a left and go 100 feet to Market Street. Make a left on Market St and go 1/3 of a mile to Pine Street. Make a left on Pine and the field is on your right. Park on Pine Street next to the field or in the parking lot along Boulevard on the other side of the field.
From NYC using public transportation, take the New Jersey Transit #161 bus from the downtown Port Authority Bus Terminal and get off at the Elmwood Park Collins Ave - Boulevard stop on Rt 46. From there either walk North (to the right), on Boulevard, about 1/3 mile to the field at Market Street and Boulevard or phone another player already at the field from the diner across the street to pick you up.
When boarding the 161 bus from the Port Authority Bus Terminal, it is preferred that you buy your ticket at the NJ Transit ticketing window on the terminal main concourse. Drivers gripe if you buy the ticket when boarding the bus, but you can do that in a pinch. Confirm at the ticket window which gate the bus leaves from.
